The Royal Military College

The Royal Military College is a visionary its a dream for others and for some people its hope.Besides that The Royal Military College, formerly called The Federation Military College, has been described by various names – some have called it “The Sandhurst of Malaysia” while others have termed it as "The Synthesis of Eton-Sandhurst”. It has attained meteoric rise in practically all fields, and has earned widespread acclaim not only in academic and military domains, but equally so on the field, and most of all in quality of its graduants. It is no exaggeration that RMC today commands the respect of not only the general public, but also recognition from all other well-known and long established educational institutions in the country.

I just came back from that school from an interview for next year's batch , which lasted 5 days and fortunately i made through all 5 days. The concept was pretty much like American idol where if you fail a test like for an example medical or IQ your send packing and and would be asked to leave the campus asap. Many Malaysian's don't really know about this school and its actually a great school with state of the art facilities and also one of the top schools in the nation not only in academic but also koko wise. When you people hear Royal Military College the 1st thing that comes to your mind is shit how can anyone survive its the BlOODY MILITARY but your wrong RMC is first and for most a normal secondary school and you are not bond to the military or whatsoever. However the word Military does not account for nothing it just means that you go through simple military training on the weekends which doesn't effect your studies whatsoever.RMC excels in sports to especially in rugby and hokey and so on.
My point is many Malaysia's view this as torture and that is the wrong mentally which we youngsters own today it shouldn't be like that.these people are called Mommy's boy's or jambu if u would like to call it.Through entering this school you will gain valuable experience which no other school in this country could over just ask any of the Old Putera's (ex student's) which include 2 of our setiausha undang negara, the CEO of sunrise sdn. bhd,the CEO of our country's very own Malaysian airlines, the current and previous Panglima for Malaysia's arm forces,Ex MCA President Tun Dr Ling Liong Sik and even Ac Mizal.

The interview was okay i guess but it was awesomely boring. All we did was wait sleep eat wait some more a few activities wait some more and keep on eating and sleeping. But in this process i meet many new friends and actually experienced what our ancestors tried so hard to achieve which was the turning point for Tanah Malay or now know as Malaysia.Through out the camp i bonded with many races such as Malays Indian's Sikh's and even Punjabi's.I too realised the importance of teamwork and leadership which is important values for future leaders.Because Rmc is the home for future leaders.Apon entering the school's there's even an arc which say's it which is freaking cool.
Oyeah i forgot to mention that school also offers wicked scholarships in medicine to Russia and Egypt which isn't cheap especially for those who are less fortunate which come from poor backgrounds.Today was the final day which was the final interview they asked us about gejala sosial and what we would do to stop it this dude said don't smoke in front of our seniors so he was implying we can smoke but not in front of our seniors we were laughing our asses of in the inside cause we were suppose to be serious but the whole panel was laughing.I Hope that next year ill get accepted but i would be sad because i will have to leave so many friends =( but that's life and eye for an eye.you can't get everything you want but we will keep in touch.Anyways I'm of to JB tomorrow and ill be back on Monday so till then =P
